The YUVA Tourism Club (YTC) at the Department of Tourism Studies is established under the YUVA Tourism Club Initiative of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. The initiative aims to inspire young minds to appreciate India's rich cultural, natural, and historical heritage while promoting responsible, sustainable, and inclusive tourism.

The Club serves as a platform for students to engage in experiential learning beyond the classroom through activities that foster tourism awareness, heritage appreciation, environmental responsibility, and community participation. Regular programmes include heritage walks, educational field visits, expert lectures, cleanliness and awareness drives, destination-based learning, photography and poster competitions, quizzes, cultural programmes, and the celebration of important occasions such as World Tourism Day. Through these activities, the Department encourages students to become informed travellers, responsible tourism ambassadors, and future professionals committed to preserving India's heritage and promoting sustainable tourism practices.
